Speaker 1: I want to thank you for joining me this week on my mini clinic on adding ten yards to your swing.
I've had a really good time, but just to recap, I want to make sure that you have all the important details.
We started off the week with keeping your back closed to the target.
This is going to help those slicers and help you hit the inside part of the ball, which is going to create the maximum compression and allow you to hit that draw, which is guaranteed to have you hitting the ball ten yards further.
We then went and we talked about the width in the swing.
This is the feeling where we placed our left arm in front of us, our right arm as we swung back to the top we kept that left arm straight.
We also made sure that we had the three quarter width swing that we talk about with the perfect connection golf swing.
This is essential to creating the sweeping motion that we need with the driver, which is going to put the proper amount of launch and spin on the ball, and when you do that that for sure is going to give you that extra distance.
We ended this week with my favorite drill, and that is keeping the right elbow pointed at the ball.
If you did not see that tip, I really want you to go back and watch that tip.
Again, understand that we wanted the right elbow to point at the ball at address, during the takeaway, at the top of the swing, and into the transition almost right into impact.
This is how you create the proper delivery of the club into the ball and this is what's going to give you that extra distance you need.
Understand, we had a great time.
We covered some major points here on how to create distance.
I call it my ten yard guarantee.
You could easily pick up ten, twenty, or even thirty yards depending on where your swing is at this point.
Join me next week.
We're going to go into one of my favorite areas and that's how to save par.
If you really want to turn your game around, and learn how to get it up and down and manage your game effectively, you do not want to miss next week's how to save par mini clinic.
