Today, we're going to get on our Bosu ball and we're going to work on some balance.
Plain and simple, we want to hop up here.
From here, can we get it to stay relatively level and still? Hopefully, the answer is yes.
From there, what we'll do is I'm going to have you drop down and go through a squat.
A lot of you, as you go down into this squat, what's going to happen is we're going to get to here and it's going to look like an earthquake.
Everything's going to start to shake.
The lower we go, the harder it is.
We want to try to activate those muscles, work the stability of the legs and get everything nice and stable so we can go down and hold, not letting it tip forwards or backwards or side-to-side, definitely eliminate that shaking.
Once we've progressed onto that, we can make this a little bit harder.
We can go over to one leg.
We're going to try to hold that one foot nice an still right there, same thing.
We don't want to have any of that shaking and quivering going on.
We want to get it nice and braced.
If that is relatively easy, what we can do is then work on doing some rotations, some turns.
We can even go and grab a ball, catch, throw to somebody.
Whatever we want to do to try to make this a little bit harder.
Again, big thing is build up in progressions.
Work on this, improve the overall balance, it's really going to help center that lower body, and build up a lot of power for the swing.
